Influencer marketing is partnering with creators on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube or LinkedIn to introduce your business to audiences who already trust them. TLG Marketing finds creators whose followers match your customers, writes the brief, negotiates terms and usage rights, reviews content before it posts, and tracks the clicks, codes and inquiries each partnership brings in.

Which businesses influencer marketing suits

Consumer brands with something people can see or try tend to benefit most: skincare, fitness, food and drink, apparel, home goods and local venues. B2B companies can use the same approach with a different cast, such as industry analysts, podcast hosts, trade educators and respected LinkedIn voices in your field.

It works best when you can describe your customer clearly and have a product or experience worth showing. Purchases decided mostly on price, or by a procurement committee, usually respond better to other channels.

How we run a creator campaign

  • Creator research. A shortlist built on audience location, age and interests, with engagement checked for signs of bought followers and past posts reviewed for brand safety.
  • Briefs and outreach. Each creator receives key messages, topics to avoid and the agreed deliverables, while keeping room for their own style.
  • Contracts. Fees or product terms, posting dates, usage rights, exclusivity and disclosure requirements settled in writing before anything is produced.
  • Content review. Drafts checked for accuracy and disclosure, then each post confirmed live as agreed.
  • Ongoing relationships. Creators who perform well are offered repeat work, which their followers tend to find more believable than a one-off mention.

Tracking influence through to inquiries

Every creator gets a unique tracked link and, for online stores, a personal discount code, so results appear in your analytics by name. We report reach and engagement alongside clicks, sign-ups, sales and inquiries, then shift budget toward the creators who brought customers. Strong creator posts can also run as paid placements through our Facebook advertising team, and the best material can be reshared on your own channels as part of social media marketing.

// Questions

Influencer marketing: common questions

Do you work with big-name influencers or smaller creators?

Mostly with smaller, specialist creators whose followers trust their recommendations and resemble your customers. Well-known names suit broad awareness campaigns with larger budgets. We recommend a mix based on what you sell and who buys it.

How do you make sure sponsored posts follow disclosure rules?

In the US, the FTC expects creators to disclose paid relationships clearly, for example with a paid partnership label or #ad. We write disclosure into every brief and contract and check each post before and after it goes live.

Can we use creator content in our own ads?

Yes, when the contract grants usage rights. We agree how long and where you can reuse the content, and can run it as partnership ads on Instagram and Facebook or as Spark Ads on TikTok so it still appears under the creator’s name.

How much does reputation management cost?

It depends on how many locations and social channels you have and how often you want to post. Tell us your budget on the form and we’ll show you what it can achieve.

How long does it take to see a difference?

Profile corrections usually show within days once Google accepts them, though verification can take longer. A steady flow of reviews and an engaged social following take months of consistent work.
