TLG Marketing helps Georgia businesses rank on Google across metro Atlanta and in Savannah, Augusta, Columbus, Macon and Athens, with Google Business Profiles, suburb and city pages, and reports that connect searches to calls. Georgia campaigns are run remotely by our team in Long Beach, California, and TLG has been in business since 2006.

How Georgia searches differ

  • Metro Atlanta is a region of suburbs. More than half of Georgians live in metro Atlanta, and locals describe places as inside or outside the Perimeter, the I-285 loop. Searches name Marietta, Alpharetta, Duluth, Decatur or Sandy Springs, so suburb pages carry real weight.
  • Corporate Atlanta buys carefully. Delta, Home Depot, Coca-Cola and UPS are headquartered in the metro, along with a large film and TV production industry. B2B buyers there compare several vendors before making contact.
  • Other cities have their own anchors. Savannah has its port, historic district and tourism; Augusta has the Masters each April and a major Army post; Columbus has a large Army installation and Aflac’s headquarters; Athens has the University of Georgia. Each needs its own page and its own seasonal plan.
  • Rural Georgia is agricultural and industrial. South Georgia grows peanuts, cotton and Vidalia onions, Gainesville is a poultry center, and Dalton makes much of the nation’s carpet. Businesses serving farms and plants there need pages that use the region’s own names and terms.

Working with TLG from anywhere in Georgia

For metro Atlanta, we sort suburbs into service areas by county, such as Cobb, Gwinnett or Fulton, and give each one a page that names the places your customers live. Outside Atlanta, each city you serve gets its own page and, where you have an office or storefront, its own Google Business Profile.

Local media, Georgia trade associations and chambers in the suburbs you serve are where we look for links. Your report shows rankings and leads by city and suburb, so it’s clear whether Gwinnett, Cobb or Savannah is driving the most calls.

// Questions

SEO in Georgia: common questions

Do you work with businesses across Georgia?

Yes, both in metro Atlanta and in cities and towns elsewhere in the state. We’re in Long Beach, California; Georgia clients can book a free 30-minute strategy session online, and we meet by video from there.

Is it worth creating Korean or Spanish pages for Gwinnett County?

It can be. Gwinnett has large Korean and Hispanic communities, especially around Duluth, Suwanee, Norcross and Lawrenceville, and many residents search in their first language. We check demand for your services in each language before writing anything.

How long does SEO take to work?

Most sites see movement within three to six months; competitive searches take longer. Your roadmap sets expectations search by search, so you know what to expect and when.

How much do SEO services cost?

It depends on how competitive your market is and how much work your site needs. Tell us your monthly budget on the form and we’ll show you what it can realistically achieve.

Will you work on my existing website?

Yes. We work on WordPress, ecommerce platforms and custom-built sites. If the site itself is holding you back, our developers can fix it or rebuild it.

What do you need from me to get started?

Access to your website, Google Search Console and Google Analytics, and a 30-minute call about your customers, services and goals.
