Logistics marketing helps 3PLs, trucking companies, freight forwarders, brokers and warehouse operators reach the shippers who award freight and storage contracts. TLG Marketing builds capability pages for your services, lanes and facilities, runs B2B search and LinkedIn campaigns aimed at logistics and procurement teams, and connects RFQ forms to your sales team so every quote request is counted and followed up.

How shippers choose a logistics partner

A shipper looking for a new carrier or 3PL usually has a specific need: a lane, a service such as drayage, transloading or cross-docking, a commodity with handling rules, or space close to the ports. Logistics managers search for that service and location, then compare providers on coverage, equipment, capacity, safety record, insurance, technology and how quickly they respond. Procurement often sends RFQs to a short list, and many contracts come up for review each year or after a peak season exposes a weak partner. Timing matters as well: shippers line up extra drayage and warehouse space ahead of the late-summer and fall import peak, so campaigns for that capacity start early. Providers whose websites answer these questions plainly are easier to shortlist.

What TLG builds for logistics companies

  • Capability pages. A page for each service, lane, facility and industry served, with equipment lists and credentials, built on our B2B SEO method.
  • RFQ forms. Quote forms that collect origin, destination, commodity, volume, equipment and timing, then route each request to the right salesperson and into your CRM.
  • LinkedIn. Company and leadership profiles, posts about capacity and new services, and LinkedIn lead generation aimed at supply chain, logistics and procurement titles at target shippers.
  • Paid search. Google Ads for high-intent searches that pair a service with a city, port or region, with call and form tracking.

Close to the Port of Long Beach

TLG’s office is in Long Beach, a short drive from the Port of Long Beach, and port business brings its own questions. Drayage trucks serving the terminals must be registered under the ports’ Clean Truck Program, drivers need TWIC cards to enter, and shippers want to know how fast you can pull a container and where it will wait. We put those answers on your site in the words shippers use, and reports count RFQs, calls and LinkedIn leads by service and source, so you can see which lanes and pages bring in freight worth quoting.

// Questions

Logistics marketing: common questions

What should a logistics capability page include?

The services, lanes and regions you cover, your equipment and facilities, operating authority and insurance, programs such as CTPAT or SmartWay if you participate, the commodities and industries you handle, and a quick way to request a quote. Shippers use it to check fit before they call, so we write in their terms and update it as your fleet and facilities change.

Can you help us recruit drivers as well as win freight?

Yes. Driver recruiting runs as its own campaign with its own landing pages, because drivers search and decide differently from shippers. On Facebook and Instagram, job ads run under Meta's employment special ad category, which removes age, gender and ZIP code targeting, so we target by area and write ads that speak to the drivers you want.

Do you work with companies that serve the Port of Long Beach?

Yes. Our office is in Long Beach, a short drive from the port, so we can visit your yard or warehouse before we write about it. For drayage, transload and warehousing firms we build pages that show what port shippers check, such as Clean Truck Program registration, drivers with TWIC cards, storage capacity and distance to the terminals.

How much does digital marketing cost?

It depends on your market, your goals and which channels you need. Tell us your monthly budget on the form and we'll recommend the mix that budget can support.

Do I need every channel?

No. Many businesses start with one or two channels, usually search and a better website, and add more once those produce leads.

How do you report results?

You get regular reports on spend, leads and cost per lead by channel, so you can see what each dollar produced.
