Plumbing marketing puts your company in front of people with a leak, a clog or a cold shower at the moment they search, then fills quieter days with planned work. TLG Marketing manages Local Services Ads, Google Ads and your Google Business Profile, builds job-type and service-area pages, and grades every call so you know which ads produce paid jobs.

Why speed wins plumbing jobs

Many plumbing searches start with a problem that gets worse by the minute: water on the floor, a backed-up sewer line, a water heater that quit. Those customers rarely shop around for long. They tap the first listing that looks trustworthy and hire whoever picks up and gives an arrival window. That makes answering the phone part of your marketing, because ad spend is lost when calls ring out, sit on hold or land in a voicemail nobody checks until morning.

Planned work behaves differently. Repiping an older house, switching to a tankless water heater, replacing a sewer line by trenchless methods or roughing in a remodel are jobs people research, comparing reviews and asking for quotes. These bigger tickets keep crews working between emergencies.

What TLG builds for plumbing companies

  • Local Services Ads. Profile, job types and ZIP codes chosen to match where your trucks can reach, with leads routed to whoever is on call. Google began moving these ads into regular Google Ads accounts in August 2026, starting with trades such as plumbing, and we manage both from one place.
  • Search ads by job. Google Ads campaigns that keep emergency terms apart from water heater, repipe and sewer searches, each sent to its own landing page.
  • Job-type and city pages. Pages for drain cleaning, leak detection, water heaters and sewer repair, plus city pages with photos from real jobs, built through our local SEO process.
  • Reviews that describe the fix. Requests that ask customers to mention the problem you solved, which gives future customers specifics to read.
  • Missed-call follow-up. An automatic text to anyone whose call went unanswered, so the job is not lost to the next listing.

Seasons, trucks and licensing

Demand moves with the weather and the calendar. Freezes split pipes in colder regions, heavy rain backs up sewer laterals, and holiday cooking sends grease down kitchen sinks, so we prepare ads and pages before each spike arrives. Your trucks advertise too. In California, the Contractors State License Board requires C-36 plumbing contractors to show the business name, address and license number on both sides of each commercial vehicle, and that license number belongs on your website and ads as well.

// Questions

Plumbing marketing: common questions

Should our ads run overnight if we offer 24-hour service?

Only if a person actually answers. A burst pipe at 2am goes to the next listing when the call rolls to voicemail, so we match ad schedules to your on-call coverage or answering service and pause campaigns when nobody can dispatch.

How do you tell real plumbing leads from spam and sales calls?

Calls come through tracking numbers, recorded with proper caller notice, and each one is graded as a booked job, quote request, existing customer, wrong service or spam. The grades show which keywords and ads bring paying work, and we cut the ones that mostly attract solicitors.

Do you market commercial plumbing as well as residential?

Yes. Restaurants, property managers and facility teams want quick response, clear invoicing and one vendor for many sites, so they buy differently from homeowners. We build separate pages and campaigns for service agreements, backflow testing and grease trap work.

How much does digital marketing cost?

It depends on your market, your goals and which channels you need. Tell us your monthly budget on the form and we'll recommend the mix that budget can support.

Do I need every channel?

No. Many businesses start with one or two channels, usually search and a better website, and add more once those produce leads.

How do you report results?

You get regular reports on spend, leads and cost per lead by channel, so you can see what each dollar produced.
