TLG Marketing helps Orange County businesses win customers through Google search and Maps, paid advertising, social media and websites built to convert. What it takes to win customers in Orange County

Orange County has more than three million people spread across 34 cities, each with its own customers and expectations.

  • Cities differ more than the map suggests. Newport Beach, Santa Ana, Irvine and Anaheim sit close together but differ in income, language and housing, so one countywide ad message rarely fits all of them. Grouping cities by customer type keeps copy and budgets relevant.
  • Language changes from city to city. Little Saigon in Westminster and Garden Grove is one of the largest Vietnamese communities outside Vietnam, Santa Ana has a large Spanish-speaking population, and Korean-owned businesses cluster in Fullerton and Buena Park, so language is worth planning for in ads and listings.
  • Irvine is a B2B center. Medical device makers such as Edwards Lifesciences, along with tech, gaming and finance companies, are based in and around Irvine, and they choose vendors through LinkedIn, search and detailed websites.
  • Tourism and the beach set a seasonal rhythm. Disneyland Resort keeps Anaheim busy all year, while the beach cities from Seal Beach to San Clemente see summer peaks for restaurants, rentals and recreation that call for higher budgets in warm months.

How we run an Orange County marketing campaign

We start with an in-person or video discovery session to map your customers by city and confirm what already produces leads. Tracking for calls and forms comes first, then fixes to your Google Business Profile and landing pages, and then the channels that fit, such as search ads for service businesses, Instagram for restaurants and retail, or LinkedIn for Irvine-area B2B buyers.

Reports group results by channel and by area of the county, and we are close enough to review them with you face to face. Our website design services page shows how we build sites that turn visits into inquiries.

Our office at 356 Redondo Ave, Long Beach is about 19 miles from Orange County by road. Directions

How to choose a marketing agency in Orange County

  1. Ask how they handle unincorporated areas

Besides its 34 cities, Orange County includes unincorporated communities such as Ladera Ranch, Rossmoor and North Tustin. Ask an agency how it would reach customers in those places, since a campaign built only on city names can miss them, and how their leads will show up in reports.

  2. Check Vietnamese and Spanish capability

After English, Spanish and Vietnamese are the languages most often spoken in Orange County homes, according to Census survey estimates, with Chinese and Korean next. Ask which of these an agency can write and review in-house, and how leads in each language are tracked.

  3. Meet close to the county line

TLG is about 19 miles from central Orange County, at 356 Redondo Ave in Long Beach, a few miles from the county line. We can meet at your office from Fullerton to San Clemente, and any agency you consider should be just as willing to see you in person.

  4. Look past promises of rankings

Be cautious with any agency that guarantees first-page rankings or a set number of leads before it has seen your data. Ask instead for a written plan for the first few months, the metrics it will report and the notice period if you decide to leave.

// Questions

Marketing in Orange County: common questions

Do you have an office in Orange County?

Our office is in Long Beach, at 356 Redondo Ave, a few miles from the Orange County line. We can meet in person at your office or ours, and between meetings we stay in touch through video calls, shared dashboards and regular reports.

Do we need separate campaigns for different parts of Orange County?

Often, yes. A customer in Huntington Beach, one in Anaheim and one in Mission Viejo can differ in income, commute and what they search for, and Google ranks map results by distance. We usually group cities with similar customers, such as the beach cities or south county, and give each group its own ads and landing pages.

Will the 2028 Olympics affect Orange County businesses?

Some, yes. Under LA28’s venue plan, Honda Center in Anaheim is set to host volleyball and Lower Trestles near San Clemente is set to host surfing in July 2028, so hotels, restaurants and shops near those sites can expect extra visitors. We’d build the event dates into ad plans once the schedule is final.

Can an Orange County business reach Long Beach and other Los Angeles County customers?

Yes. The county line runs right past Seal Beach, Los Alamitos, Cypress and La Habra, and customers cross it daily for work and shopping. We target nearby Los Angeles County cities as their own group and compare their leads with your Orange County results.

We’re adding a second location elsewhere in Orange County. How should our marketing change?

Each location should get its own Google Business Profile, its own page on your site, its own call tracking number and its own ad targeting. A shop in Fullerton and one in Mission Viejo draw from different cities, so treating them separately shows which location needs more support.

How much does digital marketing cost?

It depends on your market, your goals and which channels you need. Tell us your monthly budget on the form and we'll recommend the mix that budget can support.

Do I need every channel?

No. Many businesses start with one or two channels, usually search and a better website, and add more once those produce leads.

How do you report results?

You get regular reports on spend, leads and cost per lead by channel, so you can see what each dollar produced.
