Website design services cover planning, designing and building the site your customers use to judge your business. TLG Marketing designs custom websites, builds them in-house on WordPress or ecommerce platforms, and sets each one up to produce leads: fast pages, clear calls to action, simple forms and tracking that shows which pages bring in calls and inquiries.
When it’s time for a new website
Most businesses come to us with a site that looks dated, breaks on phones or can’t be changed without calling a developer. The bigger problem is usually quieter: visitors arrive and leave without getting in touch, and nobody can tell why.
A redesign is worth doing when your site no longer matches the quality of your work, when your offer has changed, or when you’re about to spend money on ads or SEO and need pages that convert that traffic.
What we design and build
- Custom WordPress sites: themes designed for your business, with content your team can edit without touching code.
- Responsive design: layouts planned for phones first, then scaled up for tablets and desktops.
- UI and UX design: page structure and navigation that guide visitors toward the next step.
- Ecommerce websites and member areas: online stores, gated content and account logins when your business needs them.
Every page is designed around the next step
A good-looking site that nobody contacts is an expense. We plan each page around the action a visitor should take, whether that’s calling, booking or requesting a quote, and make that action easy to find on every screen size.
- Speed. Light pages load quickly on a phone signal, and our page speed optimization service covers sites we didn’t build, too.
- Clarity. Headlines say what you do and who you do it for within the first screen.
- Forms and calls. Short forms and tap-to-call phone numbers lower the effort of getting in touch.
- Tracking. Form submissions and phone clicks are recorded in Google Analytics 4. Reports distinguish a click on a phone link from a completed call, so the numbers reflect what the tracking actually measures.
Our team works across the USA, Europe, India and the Philippines, with more than 100 years of combined experience. Every member of our team is a developer or designer, and we’ve been building websites for businesses since 2006.
Plan your website project
Compare the work included in a quote: page design, content, platform, integrations and support after launch. Our website cost guide explains the factors that change a project’s price. Browse our client projects for examples, or explore website maintenance if your existing site needs ongoing care.
Set the scope before the design starts
A website brief should list the pages, the actions visitors need to take and the systems the site must connect to. Include who supplies copy and photography, which pages need individual designs, and whether the project includes a store, booking system or member area. These decisions affect the work more than a page count alone.
Bring your existing website, brand files, service list and examples of designs you like. If you are still developing the look and message, our brand identity service can establish them before the website takes shape.
Protect what already works during a redesign
Before a replacement site goes live, identify the pages that attract visitors, earn links and produce inquiries. Keep useful addresses where possible. If an address changes, map it to the most relevant replacement and check the redirect. Our website migration service covers the planning and checks involved in moving an existing site.
A launch checklist buyers can understand
- Use the site on a phone. Check the menu, text, buttons and forms on a small screen.
- Send a test inquiry. Confirm the right person receives it and that the thank-you message works.
- Check discovery. Review important page titles, links, redirects and search-engine access.
- Plan the handoff. Confirm how your team updates content and who handles hosting, software updates and support.

// Questions
Website design: common questions
Which platforms do you build websites on?
We build custom WordPress sites, which your team can update without a developer, along with ecommerce stores and sites with member areas. We recommend a platform once we understand what the site needs to do.
Will I see the design before it’s built?
Yes. We design mockups of the key pages first so you can review the layout, content and calls to action. Development starts after you approve them.
Does a new website help with SEO?
A well-structured, fast site gives search engines a good starting point. Ranking for competitive searches also takes ongoing content and links, which our SEO team can handle.
Can a redesign preserve our existing search traffic?
It can be planned to protect valuable pages and links, although rankings can still change. Review current performance before the rebuild, preserve useful URLs, map changed addresses to relevant replacements and check the live site after launch. Migration planning should be part of the brief.
What changes the price of a website project?
The main factors are the number of distinct layouts, content production, platform, integrations, store or membership features, and the condition of the existing site. Confirm what the quote includes for testing, migration, training and ongoing support before comparing totals.
How much does a website cost?
It depends on scope: the number of pages, custom features, ecommerce and how much content needs writing. Tell us your budget on the form and we’ll show you what it can achieve.
How long does a website project take?
A small business website takes about two weeks from kickoff to launch. Larger sites with ecommerce, integrations or a lot of content take longer, and your proposal gives the timeline. Getting content and feedback to us quickly is the biggest factor you control.
Can you work on our existing website?
Yes. We can redesign it, improve what’s there, speed it up or move it to a new platform. We start by reviewing the current site so we know what’s worth keeping.
