TLG Marketing is a digital marketing agency based in Long Beach, CA, running SEO, Google Business Profiles, paid ads, websites and social media for businesses throughout California. Founded in 2006, we meet Southern California clients in person and work with companies in the rest of the state by video.

How California buyers find businesses

California is several large markets under one name. Costs, competition and customer habits change from region to region, so a statewide plan has to be built one region at a time.

  • SoCal customers name their own city. Los Angeles County alone holds dozens of cities, and Orange County, the Inland Empire and San Diego add many more. People search with names like Torrance, Irvine or Riverside, so local coverage has to be granular.
  • The Bay Area buys like a tech market. Silicon Valley and San Francisco companies vet vendors closely, and B2B buyers there respond to LinkedIn campaigns, detailed service pages and content that answers technical questions.
  • Farms and warehouses drive the inland regions. Fresno, Bakersfield and the towns between them sit in one of the world’s most productive farming regions, and Inland Empire warehouses move goods from the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach. Campaigns there speak to growers, fleet managers and warehouse operators.
  • Plenty of buyers prefer another language. Spanish is widely spoken across the state, and communities such as Little Saigon in Orange County and Koreatown in Los Angeles include customers who prefer Vietnamese or Korean. Matching ads and pages to their language helps a business reach them on their terms.

Working with TLG from anywhere in California

For Southern California clients, the first planning session can happen in person in Long Beach or elsewhere in the region. Clients in Northern California and the Central Valley get the same process by video. Either way, we audit your site, profiles and ads, then build out the regions that matter most, with a location page and Google Business Profile for each office or service area.

Your report puts Los Angeles, the Bay Area and every other region side by side, with calls, forms and cost per lead for each. See our website design services if your site needs rebuilding first.

// Questions

Marketing in California: common questions

Do you work with businesses across California?

Yes. We’re based in Long Beach, so clients in Los Angeles, Orange County, the Inland Empire and San Diego can meet with us in person. Businesses in the Bay Area, Sacramento and the rest of the state work with us by video and shared reports.

Can one campaign cover both Northern and Southern California?

It can, though we usually split it into regional campaigns inside one plan. Search terms, ad costs and competitors differ between Los Angeles and the Bay Area, so separate budgets and landing pages let us put money where leads come cheapest, while your report still shows the whole state.

How much does digital marketing cost?

It depends on your market, your goals and which channels you need. Tell us your monthly budget on the form and we'll recommend the mix that budget can support.

Do I need every channel?

No. Many businesses start with one or two channels, usually search and a better website, and add more once those produce leads.

How do you report results?

You get regular reports on spend, leads and cost per lead by channel, so you can see what each dollar produced.
